Porcaccia review for a vampire Giuseppe De Nicolo

extremely late to the public again, the review has already appeared on the site misprints, school newspaper online del Liceo G. Vasco Mondovi. http:// www.alboscuole.it/erroredistampa/
At a time when books about vampires, particularly the YA (young adult), seem to sprout like mushrooms in bookstores, where the amount seems to have become much more important quality, find a nice original book on the subject is becoming increasingly difficult. If like me you love the books and such in particular I highly recommend the book by Giuseppe De Nicolo, an excellent example of how a genre often labeled as frivolous reading, suitable only for young girls to dream, may actually be far more deep and tackle, sliding through a narrative and rhythm always urgent, and important current issues such as homosexuality and incest.
Bari In a contemporary, complete with well-defined strengths and weaknesses, a classic college student Andrea sees his little world suddenly change just because one night is to walk in the place wrong at the wrong time and is in contact with Louis, centuries-old vampire involved in criminal activities. The scene where she stumbles Andrea is so creepy and surreal that will not believe his eyes, under threat of Louis the boy returns to his apartment shaken, not yet aware that his life will be disrupted by the encounter. By accident or intent from that point on, the two begin to meet and establish a deeper bond and inconsistent. On the one hand Ludwig love with Andrea is forced to hide their feelings as not to disturb others in their own and do not involve hazardous activities, on the other Andrea increasingly undergoes confused, unconsciously, the allure of the mysterious and elusive Louis, and despite all the efforts of the vampire, events force him to put yourself in danger to save Louis. The relationship between the two will emerge strengthened and Andrea creating clarity in her feelings. What makes the story special is the humanity of the characters, often the protagonists of these novels are idealizzai to make them more like the dreams of the reader, in a vampire porcaccia the characters are so real that many scenes in the reader tends to forget even the nature Ludwig. The true monsters of the novel are in fact of human nature, Ludovico however, despite the life he leads, trying to preserve what remains of their humanity, and this is both a major strength of the novel, is a small flaw in some scenes would have been nice to see a side of vampire Louis. Andrea's character is perfect but it is the typical student, carefree and festive, but as we all have skeletons in the closet, his are just far more troubling than the average. The mixture of anguish, confusion and "coglioneria" featuring Andrea makes it so realistic and close to the player who often has the urge to give advice or even slaps to reason with him. They are well characterized even the secondary characters, such as mates of accommodation and the family of Andrew, or the characters belonging to the Ludovico past.
With realistic language and the narrative style of Giuseppe, always tight, fast-paced and at times permeated by an ironic and humorous, the book is more than sliding in a while it devours and there is more to the last page and ask how it is possible that the story is already about to end and hoping it's just an optical illusion, that the pages are actually many more, however, came at the end of the novel is still with the wind Suspended due to well-structured open-ended, leaving the reader with the hope of sooner or later (hopefully before) read a sequel.
